Want to make sure your wedding is extra country? Then this new wedding photography trend is for you!

More and more brides and grooms are using cylinder-shaped hay bales as props for their wedding portraits, resulting in the most perfect country scenes. Most of the photos we've seen trending on Pinterest have either included just the bride and groom or the full bridal party posing together, whether arranged on hay bales stacked to look like a wedding cake or simply standing in front of a single bale.

Take a look at some of our favorite examples and get ready to be inspired:

Standing Tall

This couple chose to use a hay bale to really stand out—not to mention, above—from the crowd. Let's hope that bale is sturdy!

In The Distance

We love how artsy this country scene is.

Wedding Party

How cute is this?! Have pairs of bridesmaids and groomsmen stand on top of hay bales with the soon-to-be-wed couple in the center to nail this shot. (But remember: Safety first!)

Incorporate hay bales into your engagement shoot to remind guests that they're in for a rustic affair.

The Perfect Country Moment

Bright bridesmaids dresses pop against hay bales. (We have to say, this wedding party is brave!)
