It's easy to look at a basic kitchen and feel uninspired: The builder-grade cabinets, simple laminate countertops, harsh overhead lighting, and the total absence of color. But blogger Kaylor Little of Fisherman's Wife Furniture looked at the bare bones kitchen in her home and saw an opportunity to add personality and character.
It was an investment — she replaced everything, including the flooring, appliances, and countertops — but the result is a fresh and cozy workspace that feels peaceful and refreshing.
The DIY butcher block countertops and light blue glass backsplash contrast beautifully against the white cabinets and stainless steel appliances, and we love the luxury vinyl plank floors that look like real wood.
