Fabric Bunny Box
This may not necessarily be the traditional Easter basket made for filling with candies and toys that they're use to, but this fabric bunny box is an adorable way to keep their Easter gifts hidden. Put everything into a box and use floral fabric to wrap it up like a bunny. Don't forget the pom pom tail!
DIY Decoupage Basket
Cut out paper or fabric that will cover the sides of your bucket. Lightly brush glue onto paper and apply to bucket. Let dry completely before filling with Easter goodies.
Pom Pom Easter Basket
A little goes a long way with this easy DIY upgrade to a plain wicker basket. Add pom pom trim around the edge of your basket for a cute look, then paint it in a coordinating color.
Faux Flower Basket
Easter Sunday is the perfect chance to remind ourselves just how lovely spring is. Hot glue some large, fake flowers around the base for a basket that looks like it's about to bloom. Tie a pretty ribbon around the handle for the perfect finishing touch.
Rope Basket
To make this pretty rope basket, flip a bowl upside down. Using cotton clothesline, dab glue on the end of a cord and along a few inches of the length. Carefully wind clothesline to make a flat spiral and place it on the bottom of the bowl. Continue gluing and wrapping, pressing each new row of cord to the one before it. Use masking tape to hold the rows in place while you work.
Once the bowl is covered, pull a 5” length of rope just after the last row that that was glued to make a handle. Skipping a 3” section of the basket to make the handle loop, begin gluing until you're opposite the first handle and repeat loop. Cut rope. Tie ribbon around the rope where the handles re-attach to the basket. Once dry, gently remove the bowl.
Moss-Covered Easter Basket
Create a basket that looks like it just came from a mystical forest. Hot glue craft-store moss, twigs, and even leaves or flowers to add a truly realistic touch. Then, fill with twine-wrapped and paper-embellished eggs to complete the look.
Easter Bunny Bags
Tired of spending money on your kids' Easter baskets for them to discard them directly after?
