It might not look like it from the outside, but this tiny mountain home in Golden, Colorado, is a shockingly small 500-square-feet inside.

What's even more unbelievable, however, is just how much character is packed into the tiny structure. Built by TKP Architects and Old Greenwich Builders, the tiny cottage is filled with timeworn details, like antique timbers, pine beams and wide-plank flooring that was reclaimed from a Civil War-era ammunition factory, according to an article on Mountain Living.

Also featured inside? A cozy desk area, a 50-square-foot sleeping nook, fieldstone fireplace, and a calming color scheme of greens, browns, and blacks.
