With Thanksgiving rapidly approaching, it should come as no surprise that we've been thinking of  delicious pie nonstop. That's why we were instantly smitten when we spotted blogger Ruthann Winans' home. While the farmhouse has no shortage of curb appeal, there's a tasty surprise hiding inside: The Sugar Pie Farmhouse blogger has her very own pie baking station, equipped with everything you could need to quickly whip up a delicious dessert.

When the blogger designed her dream home 10 years ago, she wanted to create a comfortable space filled with love and warmth for her family. To fuel her baking habits, this included a large "General Store-like" pantry, with a pass through to a pie baking station.

The tastiest spot in the house has everything a baker could ever dream of: pie pans, rolling pins, measuring cups, spoons, and baking spices. Truly designed with baking in mind, the marble counter keeps the pastry dough cold as Winans rolls it out—which she notes is an important step in making good pie crusts.

If you're wondering how this mom and homemaker cooked up such a magical idea, her inspiration actually came from Disneyland. " My favorite thing was to walk down Main Street and gaze at the darling turn-of-the-century houses and shops," Winans, who grew up in Southern California, told CountryLiving.com. "I would imagine what the homes inside would look like. Cozy, homey, old fashioned and welcoming with yummy pies baking in the oven."

In fact, if you've ever been to the general store on Disney's main street, the pie baking center might look familiar. Winans recalls the shop's tall shelves that are trimmed with thick moulding and charming embellishments. "I'd like to think Walt Disney would have approved," she said of her own version.
