If you're in the market for an authentic barn home with red clapboard siding, this Far Hills, New Jersey beauty is definitely what you're looking for. As recently as 1988, it still housed horses, cattle, and hay. Flash forward to present day and there's no cow manure in sight (phew), but there are some truly unforgettable ceilings and picturesque views.

Built in 1900, this 6,000-square-foot residence (which we spotted on Hooked on Houses) is three stories tall and full of quirks, starting with the home's first level which was once a hay loft. Now it's a grand living room that displays the original beams of the structure – the real star of the interior decor. And cathedral windows and skylights in the mansard-style roof allow tons of light to spill in.

The circular silo was also converted into living space — a children's playroom on the bottom and a sitting area that overlooks the more than five acres of property. Since the bedrooms are in a loft area, the community spaces stretch two stories high and create an open floor plan.

Sure, we have a few questions (like what's up with all the clocks and how did they decide on that surprisingly gorgeous purple-blue in the living room?). But that's all part of this $1.95 million home's charm. It's nothing if not unique.
